Please click on the link below to a blog on ethical breeding and what to look for in a breeder from the Chair of The International Cat Association (TICA) Sphynx Breed Committee (Credit to Shauntay Burris of Scantily Clad)-
We do offer military and repeat adopter discounts and follow all Washington State Kennel/Cattery guidelines.
It is important to note, Breeder holds all rights to refuse a sale prior to signing the contract, any deposit can be refused or returned at sole discretion of the Breeder if the placement is not deemed appropriate.
Kittens/cats pictured are not available!
Kittens are sold as pets only. We do not sell intact cats nor do we offer stud service. We would only consider placing intact cats after getting to know someone quite well and who shares the same ideals and ethics we do. Breeding is not to be taken lightly and can be a heartbreaking and expensive endeavor.
TICA also has a great breeder mentorship program if you are interested in breeding and we always suggest attending shows to learn.
Our kittens will come as pets only, meaning they will be spayed or neutered before they leave for their new homes. Pet price is $2100 with a deposit of $500 to hold your kitten.
There is no price difference for color, sex or odd eyed kittens.
We do not claim to have "rare" or designer Sphynx in an attempt to raise our prices or overcharge by color especially when there is no such thing as rare colors in a Sphynx as all colors are accepted in show. To us, a loving healthy pet is just that and our pet prices reflects that.
If you are out of state and need a kitten delivered, price does not reflect airfare.
Deposit goes towards the full purchase price of your kitten. We do not take deposits before kittens are born as we have no control over mother nature and kittens need time to develop. We usually start taking deposits when kittens around 8 weeks old (just after the infant stage) to ensure kittens are developing properly, have passed their first vet check, had their first vaccination and after matching up kittens with approved pet buyers.
We do allow in home visits by appointment only and cats can be met at local TICA shows.
Our kittens comes home with or price includes:
Kittens will be at least 16 weeks old
3 age appropriate vaccinations (FVRCP)
Rabies Vaccination (Required by law in WA)

Why buy a kitten from Mighty Bare Sphynx?
There are a lot of great breeders out there. And there are some awful breeders too. Not all breeders think exactly alike and not all breeders are ethical. We say, "research! research! research!". Ensure that a Sphynx cat is going to be right for you and your household. Be prepared to be asked questions and we are prepared to answer them from you as well. Don't automatically fall in love with the first available kitten you see without researching the breeder as well as the breed. Closer isn't always better and neither is available immediately. (We aren't saying those are bad things either if the breeder is ethical).
Be wary of a breeder that is quick to sell to anyone that has cash and cares nothing about where their kittens are going. Be wary of a breeder that dismisses or doesn't screen for HCM. Be wary of a breeder that asks for a money order or Western Union or can't provide more photos or videos of the kittens if you can't visit. Be wary of a breeder that is willing to offer breeding rights on ANY kitten if you just pay a little more... not every kitten is breeder quality simply because it is not fixed. Be wary of a breeder doing the bare minimum- 1 vaccination, letting kittens go home too early, having you finish all vetting for example. Any kitten sold under 12 weeks is unethical.
Always ASK to see pedigrees, registration papers, HCM scans and DNA testing. Don't just take a breeder's word for it and be wary if you constantly get excuses on why they can't provide them.
This breed is very loving, very entertaining but quite needy as well! They need a great diet, a lot of attention and have special grooming needs like bathing every other month and ear cleaning. They do not do well alone all day and will very much like to be next to you or on top of you. If you don't like cuddly breeds, these guys aren't for you. If you like adorable, inquisitive, mischievous monkeys... read on!
While we don't believe in mass producing or having kittens around the clock this also isn't just a fun project for us or a way to make money on the side. We try to only buy from the best lines with HCM negative pedigrees, try to buy from lines that are shown to ensure we are conforming to the standard and we try hard to maintain contact with our new families for years to come because we are incredibly passionate about what we do!
No breeder or human is perfect but we strive to do everything we can to be a reputable breeder. Our girls are not caged and do not live in different sections of our home. They free roam and are our loving pets first. They do have their own kitten room when kittens are born for safety reasons. This is not something we do to bring in money or because we thought breeding just seemed cool.
We screen our adult cats for contagious and genetic diseases. We alter all our pet kittens before they go home. We offer a multi year health contract. Our kittens come home at an appropriate age. We have references from previous pet owners. We can show pedigrees and HCM screenings on the parents. If we don't have what you are looking for.... that's okay! But a good breeder should be able to do at minimum all the things we just mentioned ESPECIALLY the HCM screenings (see more on FAQS page about HCM)!
We also may know of some amazing Sphynx catteries we can refer you to if we don't have what you are looking for please ask!
We can ship kittens in the USA using a courier who carries your kitten on board an airplane. We do not ship our kittens in cargo and will not if asked. You are also welcome to fly into Seattle International Airport yourself to pick up your kitten or drive to Pierce County! This cost is usually the price of the airline ticket ($250 - $400 is fairly average)
You must bring your own pet carrier to the airport.
